Types of bathroom furniture
There are three main types of bathroom furniture. Single, modular and furnished. Freestanding furniture, as the name suggests, is designed to stand on its own and is usually not attached to an adjacent item. In fact, most freestanding furniture doesn't have a clean edge, so it's usually impossible to attach another piece to the side without leaving a small gap between the two pieces. The most common type of freestanding furniture is the makeup unit. This allows storage under the bowl, but takes up the least amount of space. Ideal for storage in small bathrooms. Modular furniture is similar to freestanding furniture, but has flat sides, so you can join pieces to create a row (or sequence) of furniture. This allows you to fit many more devices in the bathroom. Usually, this type of furniture combines a toilet with a back and a pit.
